Sapna Bookstore

Sapna means "dream", and this bookstore certainly is a dream come true.  Right next to More, the big supermarket, they have great stationary, books on yoga and philosophy and even text books.

Ramakrishna Ashram

The bookstore of this ashram is amazing, I was not allowed to take photographs inside so you will have to see for yourself.

When you take chanting or classes at the shala they usually direct you here to get your books.  It is a great trip, right in Gokulam, and they also have a large meditation hall where everyone is wellcome.

The Mysore napper recently wrote a post on 10 things she likes about the ashram, see it here.

Rashinkar Bookstore

Yes Rashinkar is the tailor downtown but they also have quite a selection of books both in the downtown store and in the Rashinkar Mansion accross the street from the Mysore Lion's school in Gokulam
