Silver Nest - Beatiful Jewlery

Right before conference yesterday we visited Silver Nest, a wonderful place to buy jewlery.

Meena is really sweet and has lots and lots of toe rings, chains, beautiful necklesses, and it is all done in silver.

Not to be missed see the card below for directions, it is very easy, just one block from the shala.

Green Leaf Restaurant

Green Leaf is close to the Gokulam area, perhaps a 15 minute walk from the coconut stand. The food is good and they pretty much respect the Indian timings for dinner and lunch, but they have "snacks" all day long (chineese noodles and dosha).

The place is clean but I would not drink their water as I did not see it being fully filtered. For what I heard it tends to be very noisy at night.

Ramakrishna Ashram

The bookstore of this ashram is amazing, I was not allowed to take photographs inside so you will have to see for yourself.

When you take chanting or classes at the shala they usually direct you here to get your books. It is a great trip, right in Gokulam, and they also have a large meditation hall where everyone is wellcome.
